We’re introducing a waitlist for new participants

In the past few weeks, we’ve seen a record number of participants signing up to use Prolific. First and foremost, thank you! It’s been fantastic to see so many people signing up, and keen to contribute to world-changing research.

We want to make sure all our participants are able to take part in a meaningful number of studies, and can stay engaged with the platform. Especially as we’ve found that this is a strong indicator of high quality submissions.

For that reason, we’ll be introducing a waitlist for new participants signing up to Prolific from the 25th October 2021.

Participants will still be able to register their interest in opening a Prolific account by sharing their email address, and in future when we open more spots up we’ll let people on the waitlist know right away.

For our new participants who will have to wait a little longer to access studies - we really appreciate your patience, and we’ll be working hard behind the scenes to make the wait as short as possible.
